When Max rides in the basket on the front of my bike, he has an absolute blast. He straddles the rim, chest out, ears in the wind, grinning like he owns the bay, the palms, and everyone on the path. People react to him even more strongly than usual, probably because he really does look like he is having a "king of the world" moment. This one-minute video captures it nicely.
And for everyone wondering: he is held in place by a safety belt clipped to his harness, so he cannot fall out of the basket, even if I have to brake suddenly. The king travels secured.
