The most common question Max gets on Ocean Drive, after "can I pet him," is "is he a purebred?" He is not. He's a Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix, which means every puppy in his litter rolled different dice. One sibling gets the ears, another gets the brindle, and one gets everything at once and an ego to match. Max got everything at once.
That's the problem with a dog like this: you can't breed him again. The mix is a lottery, and Max is the jackpot ticket.
