This one is exactly what it looks like. Most mornings I throw the ball for Max on the beach, and most mornings, somewhere between me and the ball, he finds something more interesting, usually plastic. A fork, a plate, a little bottle. He leaves the ball where it landed and proudly brings me the trash instead. At some point I stopped arguing and started carrying an extra doggy bag for the haul. The photo is from this morning.
